Influencer: the Power to Change Anything -- Even Your Level of Self Confidence

Today is Monday, so this post is on self confidence.

Self confident people tend to be influential.  Influential people tend to be self confident.  That’s why I want to tell you about a new book that will be published soon; Influencer: The Power to Change Anything.

Influencer is written by the same group of authors who wrote one of my favorite books, Crucial Conversations, Kerry Patterson, Joseph Grenny, David Maxfield, Ron McMillan, and Al Switzler.  They are all part of a company called Vital Smarts www.vitalsmarts.com

Influencer is scheduled for release in book stores on October 1.  However, you can get it at a 34% discount if you order it though Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble.com by September 30.  Here is a link for ordering by September 30 http://www.influencerbook.com/offer.

I have not yet had the opportunity to read Influencer.  However, as I’ve mentioned, Crucial Conversations is a great book.  It tells the reader how to handle himself or herself in those sticky conversations in which inevitably find ourselves in our lives and careers.

I’m writing about it here because influence and self confidence are reciprocal.  Your self confidence improves as your ability to influence others improves.  Your ability to influence others improves as your self confidence improves.

You can learn more about Influencer at: http://www.knowmoremedia.com/2007/08/influencer_the_power_to_change.html

You can watch a YouTube video that is trailer for Influencer at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4g_xxguWzI.

If you buy Influencer, let me know what you think.  I’m going to pick up a copy and read it.  I’ll post my thoughts here.

That’s it for today.  Thanks for reading.  Log on to my website www.BudBilanich.com to subscribe to my monthly ezine and for more common sense.  Check out my other blog: www.CommonSenseGuy.com for common sense advice on leading people and running a small business.

I’ll see you around the web, and at Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

Bud

PS: Speaking of Alex’s Lemonade Stand – my fundraising page is still open.  Please go to www.FirstGiving.com/TheCommonSenseGuy to read Alex’s inspiring story and to donate if you can.
